Shipping Information:

We try to ship all orders placed on business days in less than 24 hours after they're received. Orders received on Friday, after 8 P.M. EST, will go out at noon on the following Monday.

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase within 30 days of shipment, you may return it for a refund (not including original shipping and handling charges). You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS: If an item is defective, you may return it and we will ship you a replacement, if available, at our expense. If a replacement is not available, then when you return it, we will give you a full refund including the product's original shipping and handling charges, and the cost of your return shipping.

All returns must be in original factory condition. This includes the original box, all packaging materials, inserts, warranty cards (not filled out), manuals and all accessories. When you return an item, please indicate the reason for the return.

You may want to insure your return; we cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns. If you paid for your order by credit card, a credit will be issued and will appear on your billing statement.

  Yes. We ship to all 50 states, territories U.S. military bases.

 

3. How long should it take to get my order in the U.S.?

 

  According to the United States Postal Service, the average delivery time to all fifty states in the US is 2-3 days. Please understand that since this is an "average", it means that some orders take less time and some take more. You can be assured that we will do everything we can to expedite your order, then once it gets into the mail system, we ask that you be patient if it turns out that your package happens to be one of the ones that takes a bit longer. If you read all of the comments on our "Customer Comments" page, you'll note that the majority of our customers express their pleasure at how quickly their orders arrived. That is the usual case with the Post Office. In spite of the fact that they are often the target for derision, we have found them to be completely professional and dedicated to efficiently moving the mail of this country.

 

4. What method of shipping do you use for Canada and how long should it take to get my order?

 

  Your package will be shipped via United States Postal Service First Class Mail if it weighs less than 4 pounds.  If it weighs more than four pounds, it will be shipped via United States Postal Service Priority Mail. There is no guaranteed time of delivery, but according to the Postal Service, the average delivery time is 7-10 days. Please understand that since this is an "average", it means that some orders take less time and some take more. You can be assured that we will do everything we can to expedite your order, then once it gets into the mail system, we ask that you be patient if it turns out that your package happens to be one of the ones that takes a bit longer.   Yes! We raised our rates slightly to reflect the recent US Postal increase. We believe, however, that the US Postal Service still represents the best overall blend of price, speed of delivery and dependability.

9. Do you ship to any countries outside of the U.S. and Canada?

 

  Yes. We ship to a limited number of countries around the world. If you are outside the US and Canada, just email us for details on our procedure for international orders.

13. Do you accept U.S. money orders?

 

  Yes. You may use a U.S. money order to order from us. To do this, simply email the details of your order to us at:

14. Why do you guys ship via USPS Priority Mail?

 

  We evaluated numerous shipping options and discovered that USPS Priority Mail, with Delivery Confirmation, encompassed the best of all worlds for our customers. It is reliable, affordable, and our customers are invariably pleased with how quickly they receive their orders.

 

15. How often do you add new items to your site?

 

  We are constantly on the lookout for new items relating to MiniDisc. Since the market for accessories made exclusively for MiniDisc is relatively small, we also look into the areas of cameras, backpacking, cassettes, CDs, etc. for items that will also work well for MD. Keep checking back with us to see the latest "stuff".

 

16. What can I expect when I order from your site?

 

  You will be treated as we like to be treated -- with respect! We will do everything we can to make sure you are happy with your purchase. We only sell high quality items that we've tried ourselves and enjoy, approve of, and use. We will try to ship all orders within one business day after we receive them. BLANKS- We will guarantee every minidisc blank for one year. If it gives up the ghost within that time, we'll exchange it for a new one, if available, or one of similar value.

RECORDERS: If your recorder breaks within 30 days, you may return it to us and we will send you a new replacement, if available. If your model is not available, we will either try to provide the next closest model or give you a refund.

19. Do I really need to buy Sony brand minidisc blanks? Or are they all the same?

 

  Well, we've tested all the brands we sell, and we've never had a problem with any of them (knock on plastic). So, it really just comes down to color, total time, and a personal preference for either the regular "slip" jewel cases, or the cd-style "flip" jewel cases. Finally, though, remember that we've gotcha covered with a full year guarantee on these puppies, so just go for the ones you like.

 

20. If I have an important question, can I also reach you guys by phone?

 

  Ohhh...You betcha!! You can call us during our business hours (8 A.M. to 5 P.M. PST) to ask a question. The numbers are listed at the bottom of the page. Again, we will treat you with respect, and maybe have a few laughs along the way. When you call during regular business hours, you can usually get us in person without being put on hold. If we're on another line, just leave a message and we'll get back to you as soon as we possibly can.
